New experiences continually...
Hope all is well :)
We just keep having great weeks, well that`s life right, taking everything one step at a time, and finding joy in every one. First off Happy Father`s day Dad! Hope you all had an excellent weekend. Second Happy Birthday Lewis! 17 already. Wow. Have a super day tomorrow. Hope exams are going well. Keep up the good work! Great that the house sold, that`s awesome. Great to hear Mitch is back out there, and with Aaron, they will make a great team. Just two weeks left for Aaron though. Going into
Real Estate, good idea! (My next adventure...Real Estate!) Actually that reminds of some new ideas for my future plans. Our week went as follows.
Had dinner with the James family, they are awesome! They are moving to Halifax in a few weeks, and they actually met Elder Nzojibwami up there. Then we had a lesson with Dominic at the Jette`s home. He wants to be baptized, he is so sincere, also helps that his best friend is a member.
Went to the Salvador`s again. Oh and we were teaching a family, then they moved, and we didn`t know where, so last week we saw them driving down a street, we went back there and found them again! So that was a cool miracle.
Good district meeting, and dinner with the Beaudouin`s. Made tons of cookies and dropped them off for people!
I was on exchanges with Elder Lucas (from Tahiti). We had a great day. Met some nice Nigerian ladies that invited us in, but we were just us two so we couldn`t enter, hopefully they call us back. Taught Hans, a member in the ward from Germany. He has met four prophets and a bunch of apostles. Super nice man. Also we dropped by a recent convert, Carol. Turns out she met the Haitian lady we found last week, and talked to her for hours about the church! Then she invited her to come on Sunday. That was amazing!
We had a traditional Québecois meal at the Laroche`s house. We had poutine! And a desert that is like cinnamon buns made with pie crust. It was pretty good. Then read scriptures with the Champagne`s!
Lessons all day with African families! Brought Brother Kikongi, he is from Congo, but has been here for a long time. He is the former Bishop. It was sweet!
Went in the morning early to Sister Quijano (72 year old lady from El Salvador) to take the bus with her to church. Directed the music. Sundaes for the men after the meetings! Aubert came with us all day. Had a lesson in the psychiatric ward of the hospital... yup. Oh and dinner with the James again.
I was reading President Packer`s talk from the last General Conference. It is amazing. I was really touched by the beginning where he explains that of all the titles He could of chosen for us to address Him, He chose `Father`. I am so grateful that we have a loving Heavenly Father, and that you and Dad have been such great examples to us. I love our Saviour and know He lives. I know that like Elder Packer says in his talk that the whole purpose of the Gospel is to bless us with happy families. In Preach My Gospel, I was studying Chapter 5 about the Book of Mormon, I am grateful the Lord blessed us with additional scriptures to increase our understanding of the Gospel. I know that is true. Have a great week mom.
Love Elder Heinzlmeir
